      Pros

      Surrounded by great talent. I really felt like Blackbaud hired talented people who were also great to work with. Also, our clients are doing amazing things, and it's humbling to think you can ever do a small part to help them.

      Cons

      The career paths were not well-defined, and there is definit an internal glass ceiling. I'd been there around 10 years, and I watched lots of others leave in order to grow their careers externally. The pay is low for the industry, and especially for the area.

      Honestly, at the time there weren’t many cons.

      Pros

      Decent pay, remote work flexibility, you get to work with some very talented folks.

      Cons

      Used to be proud to work for Blackbaud but that has all but disappeared in last 2 years. Poor and ineffective leadership, false transparency, frequent layoffs, bonuses based off of stock which has been tanking. It's a sinking ship. Avoid at all costs.
