They grew too fast. This company is a global leader but their existing leadership is holdover from their small company days, many from the Safeway years (their former parent.) Trying to encourage change and upgrade to perform business in a global sense and uniformly. Tried to introduce global management of their real estate portfolio to solve real issues they were asking to be solved, and they would not have it.
