Pros

Blanton Turner is a fast paced company and once you sign the offer letter, you are on one crazy roller coaster. If you're not ready for that, then this will quickly overwhelm you and burn you out. BT is still growing fast and it's hard to have it all ironed out when everything keeps changing. I appreciate that they are actively trying to improve in every facet, from on-boarding new employees, to boosting benefits. The principals of the company are some of the best people and they hustle for everyone and interview all employees before they even become part of the team. There is great teamwork between all the staff and properties, even though they are technically in competition with each other. They are a great poster child of what team work is all about.

Cons

The con's about BT rest more in pay discrepancies and related cheap budgets that do not allow for proper staffing. This obviously results in more frequent turnover and/or burnt out staff. It's not a unique problem but the stress of the high demand that comes from our job, does not match what most are paid. Ironically, we cannot afford to live at most of the properties that we work so hard for.

Pros

Strong company culture that generally promotes from within. Blanton Turner has never failed at doing their best to listen to employee feedback, and seems to be willing to pivot and make change when they're asked. Great benefits, competitive pay, and ethical businesses practices.

Cons

Blanton Turner struggles to effectively roll out change, communicate changes in policy, and support teams through transition. Recent portfolio wide changes have felt chaotic at best, and extremely disruptive at worst. Teams are forced to use AI in daily life without option to opt out, which leads to more time spent cleaning up the mess AI makes than actually doing the job.
