Pros

Coworkers are amazing! If you can hit incentive, $1500 a month is a nice addition to pay and flexible scheduling. SPIRE is amazing at understanding "life stuff" for family emergencies. Great resume builder for well rounded financial position.

Cons

SPIRE is about the bottom dollar, 100% of the time. They want a good name and will risk losing employees to do it. The incentive program is incredibly difficult to attain, and it's more like a bank than a credit union. Every other Saturday's and a half day during the week gets wearing. Empty promises from management, and EXTREME lack of support from higher ups. Member centric, but gives zero credit back to the employee.

First, thank you for giving us your feedback! We are happy to see that you’re enjoying the relationships that you’ve been able to build with your co-workers and that SPIRE is able to meet your work/life balance needs. These are definitely important pieces to ensuring an employee has a rewarding career. We also want you to know that we do hear both your concerns and appreciation of our incentive plan. While we have many employees who do achieve success with this incentive plan, it is definitely something that we want to review regularly and gather feedback. Given that, we would definitely welcome a direct conversation regarding your concerns. Please feel free to reach out to either your Branch Manager or the HR Department. Thanks again for your feedback!

Pros

Generous benefits that support employee health. Considerate managers and close knit teams. Fun holiday outings and generous quarterly goals paid out to the entire company.

Cons

You have to remain in your hired position for one full year before you are ever considered to be a worthy candidate for an internal position even if you would be a superior applicant for another role Blaze is hiring for. If you start in customer service good luck ever getting out of it unless that is what you want. There are rigid requirements on upward mobility and even if you prove yourself you will have to wait. If you ever thought working remotely at Blaze would be an option, there are employees who work remotely in admin that are being pushed out, the company is slowly pushing employees back into office.
