Pros

*Above average pay *Above average benefits

Cons

*Spire don't walk the talk. *The company's middle management is very juvenile and gossip is the preferred past time. They discuss private information about others, employees and members, on a regular basis. I've heard personal information about employees and customers shared with other employees and customers . You cannot trust anyone because you don't know who will talk to who and how they will twist situations to make themselves look good. There is constant bad talking between branches. I work at several different locations and I can see a lack of positive leadership throughout. It's not just one branch, it's most. Most branches/departments believe they do things best and no one else knows what they're doing. Instead of educating they jump to being degrading. If an error is made they will insult the person instead of educating and preventing further errors. *The percentage of employees that make their personal incentive goals is under 10%. The sales pressure is extreme even though they say it's not. From what I've heard from others it's the primary focus in employees reviews. *I don't believe the senior management is aware of what is happening at the branch level. Spire has lost quality employees because of the negative atmosphere.

Thanks for your feedback – we definitely appreciate all feedback whether it’s a pro or con. It’s nice to see that you feel that you are receiving above average pay and benefits. This is something that we have definitely been working hard to ensure at SPIRE. We also want to acknowledge the concerns you have mentioned and assure you that member service along with employee / management concerns are taken very seriously at SPIRE both at the branch and Sr. Management level. We acknowledge that our ‘employee resource pool’ could receive more mentoring as we can be very focused on our scheduling. We do hope you reach out to HR or another manager to address your concerns.

Pros

Generous benefits that support employee health. Considerate managers and close knit teams. Fun holiday outings and generous quarterly goals paid out to the entire company.

Cons

You have to remain in your hired position for one full year before you are ever considered to be a worthy candidate for an internal position even if you would be a superior applicant for another role Blaze is hiring for. If you start in customer service good luck ever getting out of it unless that is what you want. There are rigid requirements on upward mobility and even if you prove yourself you will have to wait. If you ever thought working remotely at Blaze would be an option, there are employees who work remotely in admin that are being pushed out, the company is slowly pushing employees back into office.
