Pros

-Does have some really awesome employees/coworkers that will gladly go the mile for you. -The idea/vision for this credit union is great.

Cons

-Managers lack training that are essential for coaching and helping their branch. -HR talks with other managers/employees about confidential info that should NEVER leave HR. -Gossip is worse than back in high school. -The training as a whole is by far lacking. You could call the contact center 4 different times and more than likely receive 4 different answers. -Turn over is ridiculous. -You will typically be pushed off from person to person within a department because no one wants to "help" or assist in the issue that is their department. -If the regional manager does not like you (or feels threatened by you), prepare to fight for your job daily because they will set you up for failure any chance they get. -Personal incentive standards are unfair. Especially considering branch location for a few. -The CEO has no idea what is going on in it's own company. -Spire's ways is very bank like with product pushing. -No personal and work life balance. You are expected to stay late, come early and work every other Saturday, and given a half day the following week. Most of the time you don't get the choice of what day that is. -Favoritism does exist. Terribly. -Treat other credit union members with horrible customer service!

Pros

Generous benefits that support employee health. Considerate managers and close knit teams. Fun holiday outings and generous quarterly goals paid out to the entire company.

Cons

You have to remain in your hired position for one full year before you are ever considered to be a worthy candidate for an internal position even if you would be a superior applicant for another role Blaze is hiring for. If you start in customer service good luck ever getting out of it unless that is what you want. There are rigid requirements on upward mobility and even if you prove yourself you will have to wait. If you ever thought working remotely at Blaze would be an option, there are employees who work remotely in admin that are being pushed out, the company is slowly pushing employees back into office.
