Pros
None comes to mind except above average compensation and work from home freedom.
Cons
There is a serious culture of favouritism in the India engineering team. People who rarely deliver are consistently rewarded, while engineers who have been delivering continuously for the last two years get little to no recognition, hikes, or growth opportunities. Leadership often shows fake pride in the work, but there is very little genuine appreciation for the people actually doing it. In India engineering team certain set of people are favoured, and that affects recognition, opportunities, and overall morale. This i guess is primarily because of leadership in India On top of this, there are consistent layoffs and no clear roadmap sharing with the team. The environment feels highly political, unfair, and mentally exhausting. If you are an engineer thinking of joining this company, I would strongly advise against it. The culture can seriously affect your mental health, especially if you care about doing good work and being treated fairly.
