Pros
Free lunch when offices are open. Decent base salary.
Cons
The company has become extremely bloated with senior “leaders” who seem to desperately struggle choosing which goals are important for the company. At the same time, these leaders fail to engage with or demonstrate legitimate concern for their employees. The best leaders this company had began to leave in the Fall of 2020, and the hemorrhaging continues at the time of this writing. The definition of “high priority” no longer holds weight here as virtually every project has been labeled as being high priority. Of these projects, the majority have either been catastrophic failures or grown at rates far below original estimates. Engineers end up burning out and leaving, and in turn, the vast majority of engineers are new hires left to maintain the legacy “spaghetti code” created through rushed deliveries.
