No growth whatsoever if you don't want to become a manager Big consulting mindset Not product oriented Extremely political - Social engineering is the way to go here, not skill or performance Blip is losing its culture, it's a big corporate now

Pros

Great company to growth technically. Had the luck to work on green field projects using java 21, Apache Flink, Spring boot, Kafka. Great colleagues with excellent technical background.

Cons

The bonus is not guaranteed, usually is 20% of the base pay. Teams constantly under restructures. Gambling company, so be aware of the moral implications on yourself. Most of the in house tech is on prem with outdated technologies. If you have to maintain anything outside AWS you have to learn an outdated and irrelevant technology.
