Pros

The pay is good/ 17 weekly

Cons

Management plays favoritism! Their so worried about people being in the booth when there was a manager harassing females on the orange line and they didn’t fire him they just moved him to the blue line NO PROTECTION when us CSR we’re getting stabbed and had guns pulled out on us, people spitting on us, a lot of Drug attacks you’ll deal with and Mental people ! And I was told by a manager to eat on the platform where people are spitting on the ground and to take off my work uniform (when that’s all I had to work in) because they didn’t want passengers to know how awful they would treat us. If you didn’t eat because there was no where to eat, YOU DON’T GET A BREAK!

Hello Former MBTA Ambassador: We value your reviews and take them seriously. Our goal is to protect our culture and support our teams. Please call the official Block by Block HR Hotline and discuss your issues so that we can address them as discussed in your training and handbook. Not being offered a break and not taking a break are two different matters. I understand the frustration with not having an official break area, however why could you not have ridden the train to a spot to eat your lunch/dinner? (Employee Relations Hotline 615-850-5451) This is where anyone can report any wrongdoing of any kind. Transit Ambassador training covers all of these types of complaints and who to contact. Good luck in all future endeavors and please call the above number.
