Surrounded by really talented engineers. Initially management understood that the barriers to success were processes that were non value added.

Management erroneously adopted the SpaceX model and tried to iterate faster. However, they did so much better with New Glenn because they stabilized the rocket engine from the component and sub assembly level instead of rushing to build a vehicle when most of the problems had not been worked out yet.
