Pros
They take their time finding and hiring the 'right fit' to prevent high turnover. Wonderful people. Surrounded by super intelligent people who want to do a good job. Most enjoy coming to work (working from home) every day.
Cons
Losing some great talent due to R&D types (that have been around since the company was 50 employees) not wanting to function like a true manufacturing company (follow the rules, can't do whatever you want, etc.). That's just growing pains though and most that I know that have left have been from the early days and complained about change. Have heard of high turnover, and may be due to a lot of aerospace co. competition in the area. Development engineers sometimes don't know when to stop designing/redesigning and thus leads to delays in manufacturing getting designs on what to build, thus delays in schedule. Need to be more efficient overall.
