Best Company I've Ever Worked For - Executive Recruiter Blue Signal Employee Review

Man. Where to begin here. Before I begin just wanted to state I came on board as NON experienced recruiter working totally remote and this is my first remote job. Lets start with expectations and training: Management and HR set expectations up front about what the job entails. There is no sugar coating or beating around the bush on how difficult recruiting can be and challenges I would face. My manager in particular is one of the best. I've only had one other person have my back no matter what before. My current manager will move heaven and earth to make sure I have the resources I need to do my job. He even went as far as to have daily check in's to discuss strategy. Some might have viewed this as micro-managing, but that was not the case at all. It was just having someone help hold me accountable and offer guidance when I needed. There is not one person in the company who wouldn't help anyone else on the team especially in training. Lets talk about process, procedures, and culture- Company culture is incredible and supportive. What I love most about BSS is that I have the flexibility to manage my own desk and work as I please. I am not bound to a strict 8-5 schedule. There are many times I am having to put in an extra hour or two in the evening due to clients I have on the west coast. Its also nice that management understands not everyday is going to be a productive and great day. Some days are great, others are not. I never feel like I'm going to be scolded for having "un productive days" as long as my metrics and billings are on track. Lets talk metrics and pay- The company has a pretty lenient metric policy. They really give you the ball and then you have to run with it. It does take some time to get ramped up, it personally took me 3.5 months, but others have been quicker. I personally receive a draw and then once I'm caught up I earn bonus checks. The commission rate for placements is the most competitive I've seen in a sales job. It does not take long to really start making great money. Over all I can't say enough great things. For someone like me who had zero idea of what the recruiting world is/was like, I'm just thankful it has been with Blue Signal so far. I have a hard time believing any other agency out there being better than this. Matt's vision is unreal and he is the best leader a company could ask for.
