Pros

It's a new company with lots of exciting growth happening with acquisitions of various companies and new clinics servicing children that need ABA. This is a great thing. Furthermore, they have some really quality clinicians that work with the company at higher levels.

Cons

Policies and procedures are still "a work in progress" despite the fast pace of growth. The drive for numbers, although it is something that seems manageable, has led to overworked and stressed out employees, and ultimately has led to a lower level of clinical quality which is not the message promoted by the company. Unfortunately, the clinical directors that I worked with were too involved in the "process" of getting clients in the door and producing outcomes from a numerical standpoint that they could not see that the clinical quality was being severely affected.

Hi there, Thank you for your review and thoughtful advice. I love your comment about advocacy not being constrained to the capital steps. I couldn't agree more and that's why we have invested significant resources in our full time, dedicated, advocacy team. It sounds like you may not have interacted with them in the short time you were with us but they are amazing; I'd be happy to connect you with them. They work most weekends and many evenings supporting the local communities everywhere we have clinics. To highlight just a few of their successes: - They were the only ABA provider team from Texas to appear in Washington DC recently to provide support for the Autism Cares Act. - They worked hand in hand with TXABA's Public Policy Group to help push for legislature in Texas that will truly fund comprehensive ABA programs for the first time through Medicaid's Star Kids program and continue to work on the implementation of that program. - They partnered with our local Oklahoma clinic leadership to help local state legislators understand the need to approve RBT usage in their new Medicaid ABA program. We support countless local community programs and grass roots efforts to promote inclusion, awareness and access for all people with Autism and I am incredibly proud of our advocacy team and the investments and efforts we have made in the area of advocacy. With all of that being said, I know there is always more to be done. If you have ideas for ways we can do more for our communities please don't hesitate to reach out to me.
