Pros

There's some great people there at that company who really are very smart and very passionate about their job. Flex time is a plus. Beer kegs, coffee and snacks provided in office. Potentially a good place to start your career.

Cons

Compensation and benefits are low, especially when comparing to other roles in the industry. Potential for growth is somewhat limited. The agency style model works well for some people, but can quickly become redundant and creates pressure to perform while logging every minute of the day. Most certainly not the most efficient way to build/maintain websites or software. Fair amount of turnover Very tricky to get adequate access to senior engineers. During my time at the company, they were in a major growth phase, so that created a lot of growing pains. Some of those pains seemed natural and are tricky to fault the company for, however, the overall direction was inconsistent, unorganized and felt very unplanned. Very often it felt as though all decisions were made by flying by the seat of their pants. Once they were bought by InhabitHQ, it became that much harder to look the other way on the companies shortcomings and only contributed to the erosion of the work culture.
