Pros
A steady 40 hour paycheck. Buffets/lunch or breakfast at least once a month provided, benefits could be better but are not bad. Most non-management employees are great to work with and just wanna be appreciated.
Cons
On the outside Boise looks wonderful with their offers and promises of growth, equality, pay, benefits & inclusivity. What they don’t tell you is it depends on if you’re part of the body system, the favorite employee, a favorite location, who you are/what your position is, etc. Depending on your location and if you’re part of the buddy system depends on your pay. Some areas are paid much less for the same or more work than others at different locations perform. Poor annual &/or merit pay increases Little to know chance is given for growth opportunity unless you are part of the chosen ones. They preach equality, inclusivity and such but that’s where it ends. The company is made up of primarily 90% Caucasians & is clearly a man’s world. Females, people of color or anyone that is not part of the preferential man code is often overlooked, not appreciated and not seen for their potential. Branch managers and up are an unorganized, chaotic a ball of twine. They all seem to make up their own rules as they’re going and show favoritism to who/what they want. Sales professionals are the only thing that seems to matter at this company. They are allowed to do what they want with little to no recourse as well as do things that no other employee including management are permitted to do They offer flexible work arrangements, hybrid schedules or work from home options. Again this is only an option for a select few of employees nationwide. Branch managers and up are an unorganized, chaotic a ball of twine. They all seem to make up their own rules as they’re going and show favoritism to who/what they want.
