Pros

Vacation time, health insurance but quality and cost of health insurance has gone down hill.

Cons

Mercy Health the company that acquired Bon Secours is laying off those that have served the communities with compassion and loyalty. There have been mass layoffs this year. This is not the same company I worked for 2 years ago or even 12 years ago. It is really unfortunate they are treating long time employees like they are. I myself worked for Bon Secours as well as my wife. We have both noticed drastic negative changes since the acquisition. There is no compassion from executives and people will turn their back on you in a second.

Pros

Great team environment with supportive coworkers and providers. Leadership encourages teamwork, and the company offers good benefits and stability. Working directly with patients can be very rewarding, and the organization focuses strongly on patient-centered care through Bon Secours Mercy Health.

Cons

Workload can be very demanding at times, especially with staffing shortages and high patient volume. Communication between departments can occasionally be inconsistent, and opportunities for growth or advancement can be difficult to obtain. Balancing front desk responsibilities with patient needs can also become stressful during busy clinic hours at Bon Secours Mercy Health.
