Pros

- Your in-clinic team will be amazing if you are under the right management - Weekend lunch - Monthly transit and parking coverage

Cons

It’s truly astonishing how a company can be the worst and every year, find new ways to top it. Let’s start with what this company promises: Virtual support, and screening calls to prevent in clinic burnout (nonexistent, they fired them all) Support with travel certificates that are tied to your licenses as a veterinarian (also nonexistent, they fired that entire team) Work life balance: (also nonexistent, you will be burned out and treated poorly by in clinic management, and upper management because they don’t see you as people. They see you as numbers. Growth and training: If you make a single mistake in any position, you will be wrongfully terminated by the director of Human Resources, and will fire you if you hold her accountable in any capacity. Here’s what this company actually does: Invest money in relief doctors and nurses, but treats their full time employees horribly. Expect clinic mangers to be “yes men”, and if you aren’t the favorite by your regional, they will set you up to fail every time. Retaliate against you for giving helpful feedback in any capacity. Your concerns will never be heard, nor will this company have compassion for the people they hire. You are simply just a number to them, not a person. They will carefully hire the wrong regional, every time. You will deal with the most cut throat and unhelpful people who are incompetent and will set you up to be wrongfully terminated, regardless of how hard you work or how well your clinic is performing. The lay off and turnover rate is astronomical. They also will not promote within or give any raises. If you want to work at a company where: - The environment is toxic and cliquey company wide - Only people who actually do their job are held accountable - Doctors can be disrespectful and get people fired for no reason regardless of complaints against them - Human Resources is made up of unprofessional people who are driven by protecting their ego and love to play god - Their company values mean nothing. They don’t want you to be empowered because you will be fired. They don’t communicate clearly in any capacity. They don’t work as a team, it’s every person for themselves. They aren’t obsessed with pets, they only care about how much money they can get from you and how much their doctors add on for unnecessary diagnostics. - You thrive in a toxic and unhealthy environment - You literally never see your clinic managers and if you do, it’s because they aren’t the regionals favorite - And finally, you absolutely love love love being treated poorly by people who are mediocre in performance, low in trust and in a position of power. THIS is the company for you!!!

Pros

The best part about working here is definitely the people and the culture. Management really invests in your growth with great learning opportunities and hands-on CE.

Cons

Because the team is small, everyone is super accessible and response times are quick—but actual backend action and implementation can feel depressingly slow.

Pros

There were pros when I initially started but those went away once they pulled the guy from City MD.

Cons

ZERO communication of any sort. Zero planning. Zero idea on how to properly run a business. No support from marketing, senior leadership team that feels like they make decisions in the moment without a thought of how this will affect the staff. Closed an entire travel department down without thinking that the clinic staff would need training. They just closed an entire clinic with zero warning. Zero notice. Not a word. Staff? Who thinks about them....
