Pros

Great dynamic use of workflows—From client being greeted at reception, to assistant taking pertinent history, to the appointment technician scribing for DVM in exam during appt, to the treatment technician preparing and executing any diagnostics/Tx’s—How the flow of day-to-day appointments operates was seamless. Easy to navigate EMR platform and was very thorough in medical recording of exam, diagnostics, treatments, medications, etc. Communication was easy to maintain throughout hospital due to the use of Slack Has all up-to-date equipment Any equipment you needed to help support your job duties was met with acknowledgement and improvement. High pay compared to other hospitals — plus bonus incentives for additional income during regular schedule. Provides snacks and drinks for employees at all times.

Cons

Negative work environment—No team morale/spirit. Environment/Culture was somewhat toxic—cliques, techs/asst’s bad talking other techs/asst’s (same with CSR team)… there was always the blame game being thrown around when something went wrong… instead of focusing on the problem and trying to implement a solution, it was more pertinent to figure out who made the mistake instead of why. Bond Vet preaches about mental health—but when I had to resign from my position due to my mental health condition, I was shown no empathy and was given no resources for help. I was told that I could apply for future jobs at Bond Vet and be accepted back—I’ve applied for a couple LVT positions at different locations as well as Remote CSR/LVT call center rolls and have NEVER been given the opportunity for an interview since my resignation.

Pros

The best part about working here is definitely the people and the culture. Management really invests in your growth with great learning opportunities and hands-on CE.

Cons

Because the team is small, everyone is super accessible and response times are quick—but actual backend action and implementation can feel depressingly slow.

Pros

There were pros when I initially started but those went away once they pulled the guy from City MD.

Cons

ZERO communication of any sort. Zero planning. Zero idea on how to properly run a business. No support from marketing, senior leadership team that feels like they make decisions in the moment without a thought of how this will affect the staff. Closed an entire travel department down without thinking that the clinic staff would need training. They just closed an entire clinic with zero warning. Zero notice. Not a word. Staff? Who thinks about them....
