Supportive managers, but peak season is chaotic - Customer Service Representative Booking.com Employee Review

Pros

Work environment is pretty good, managers actually feel supportive

Cons

Peak season is a nightmare, get ready to spend 2+ hours on the phone making changes to 10 properties one by one, the higher departments like finance are radio silence and fully unreachable, which means if they create an issue, you'll take the brunt of it

Pros

People are great, I have created amazing connections and friendships along the way. Fun work environment we work hard but are able to play harder. Global reach, often connecting with people around the world.

Cons

Not much mobility and constant change. Hard to be stable in that kind of environment. Many times the plan is not fully complete before expecting execution and very siloed creating duplication of effort and work.
