Pros

Great oppportunites to work on high impact projects with peers and associates who are experienced and usually very intelligent. In addition, the exit value of having the Booz Allen name on your resume is very helpful

Cons

Long hours and the politics fo the Senior Associates and Partners can negatively affect the operating culture for the lower level employees. The compensation at least for those working in the public sector in a competitive environment such as Washington DC can be lower for those who need the frim more than the firm needs them- which is frequently the case

Frequent changes in priorities, restructuring, and business decisions can make job stability feel less predictable. Employees may sometimes feel disconnected from leadership, and concerns raised through HR or management channels do not always appear to result in meaningful action or transparency.
