Pros

Good benefits for a family person. Gain a lot of experience in a short period of time.

Cons

Manufacturing is relied on for everything. Maintenance, techs and line workers disappear when a line goes down and it is up to the engineer to get it back running. Management refuses to change the culture. Work long hours including weekends and holidays. High rate of turnover voluntary and involuntary.
