Pros
Families are great and very involved, working with children is always rewarding, provide supervision for student, paid training for RBT certification, friendly staff
Cons
The handbook has a built in clause stating that as an “at will” employee the company can terminate your employment at any time WITHOUT following any progressive discipline or providing direct examples of what you did “wrong”, communication from management is not always consistent or clear, appears to be favoritism-management are all long time friends in this private company, two weeks of set vacation with unclear guidelines on whether direct care staff are able to take days off outside of those two weeks, company is growing faster than they can hire employees so supervision and support is not always available
