Expect the main focus of your work term to be grinding out RFIs and submittals. Even talking with other interns that were on their 2nd or 3rd work term, doing this "grunt work" will still take up 75-80% of your time. Also, there are very few opportunities to develop leadership or gain actual problem-solving experience. You are told exactly "how" to do something, and given very little more than minor tasks to apply yourself to.
