Pros
Excellent onboarding and orientation process. They give you a full week and have a whole team dedicated to ensuring you feel comfortable with the processes and programs. The medical director is very kind and helpful. He is patient and generous with his time and knowledge, and it always felt as though he had the team’s back. There are several different departments in teams to help you with whatever you might need help with (IT, billing, medical records, etc. ) There’s always plenty of support. They pay 100% for health insurance which is great. There are also a lot of paid holidays as well as vacation and sick time.
Cons
The salary is on the lower end and there is no room for growth as there are no annual raises. They do not offer any administration time, so you will have a full caseload all day and then be expected to catch up on calls and charts on your own time. That being said, there are a lot of cancellations and no-shows, so often you may have some time during the day to do these things, but it is not formally scheduled in the day. Front desk communication is lacking greatly often lead to more work on the providers end.
