The local staff members are like family. Great management at local-level only. Lots of moving parts, but local management was key in making sure everything worked in efficient manner.

But none of that mattered when the company lost a contract. Losing that contract meant shutting down our location and thus everyone losing their jobs.

Thank you for your feedback. The client referenced is a long-standing client with many years of partnership which continues today. Over the last year, our mix of services there shifted toward an emphasis on professional services vs. IT product procurement. Unfortunately, the facility and team in question was focused on warehousing and distribution of IT products. The decision to close the location was a difficult one as it affected valued associates in that area. Emtec provided assistance to those impacted with career placement and resume services. We value your tenure here and wish you all the best in your future endeavors.
Layoffs about every 3 months. Leadership doesn’t disclose. You’ll be looking to reach out to someone about a project and find out they’re not even there anymore.
Leadership and management provide little to no training/information yet expect you to perform as if you did. It’s actually very strange.
Promotions only given to offshore team members.
No culture - the culture is getting the company more money.
Poor change management process, yet lots of changes.
