Pros
The supervisors/clinicians are amazing to work under and are so smart. If you truly care you can excel at this job and make a difference in the children’s lives! It’s amazing to see progress and it’s amazing how hard these kids work. The work environment is fun and friendly, it is exciting to come to work.
Cons
They don’t have any holiday pay, paid time off, sick pay, compensation for canceled sessions, and driving hours. I don’t feel valued or supported as an employee. When holidays come around I feel anxiety because I can’t afford to make ends meet. They also have canceled sessions that are canceled last minute consistently and you just lose the money for those sessions. On top of that they don’t have enough hours to schedule people full time consistently, and you aren’t paid for driving time. I end up driving for 1 hours and 15 minutes for one session and am not paid at all. The pay is completely inconsistent the only way that you could have this job and make it is if you have a second job or another person assisting in financially supporting you. They consistently ask more from their staff but don’t provide support necessary and staff is left feeling burnt out. They try to use gift cards as incentive and it’s almost insulting that the don’t consider actual benefits.
