Pros

Most employees are deeply committed to their work and genuinely want to make a difference. Leave pool time is substantial and begins accruing at hire.

Cons

Budget issues are the biggest "con." The bottom line is that the Brien Center does not pay well, with some masters level clinicians making less than $16/hr. Health care options are extraordinarily expensive, particularly family plans.

Pros

Time off is very generous. Company also is committed to it's clients and staff. New programs and growth in the company. Positive and supportive work environment. Management is very visible and tries to resolve issue. They also are trying to get more funding to increase salaries. Lots of opportunities.

Cons

Money & benefits are low due to lower insurance reimbursement mental health. Union is a challenge because it goes out of it's way to protect bad workers and several reps continually make it a us versus them with management and continue to bring up things that happened years ago and the people are no longer here.
