Unfriendly environment for LGBTQ people, frustrating assignments - User Experience Designer Brigham Young University (BYU) Employee Review

The environment was very unfriendly for LGBTQ people. Coworkers were very insistent on defending the organization and pretending that LGBTQ people are treated fairly, and had little tolerance for differing perspectives. The tasks were frustrating, and often required help that wasn't easily available to set up software. The environment had little room for any social interaction, coworkers largely avoided conversation.
