Pros

Nice people in lower/middle management positions for the most part. Flexible hours.

Cons

As a private religious university, BYU has the right to skirt typical protected classes that prevent normal companies and universities from discriminating against people based on religion. Should you find yourself outside their accepted religous beliefs and practices, your job is at stake. I developed fundamental disagreements with the Mormon faith during my time there that made me want to distance myself from certain beliefs and practices, but I was forced to conform to Mormon ideologies and participation in worship services in order to maintain employment. This in retrospect caused me significant emotional and psychological distress.
