-Quarterly profit sharing is presented as a “bonus” in addition to base salary, when in reality the base salaries here are below industry average, so profit sharing is a MUST in order to reach industry average
-No HR department and inappropriate racist comments/sexual harassment situations are overlooked. There are no repercussions for an employee in upper management joking to two people speaking a foreign language that we are not in a nail salon. That’s only one example.
-Lack of people development. Not much opportunity for career growth. There is no clear career development plan in place, so less seasoned employees tend to treat the company as a temporary pitstop in their career. No career matrix laid out for employees. The company tends to avoid promoting from within. Some employees who have been here many years have their dreams crushed when the company hires someone external instead.
