Lots of overview. Not to many good things to say about this company. Not only was I lied to from the beginning, but so was many of us was!!!!

Was told that once classes was over we would get paid milage and 8.25 an hour for being in class, but won't be!!!! Had a TB test, CPR Certified, and Hep B ( 1st shot ) all belong to ResCare! Can't use anywhere else! These are not your average patients as I like to call them....not clients as they call them. They are SICK and they don't live in their own home, as I was told, they live in GROUP homes, totally different! One Caregiver, as I like to be called and not a PCA....was stabbed to death by one of her patients! Meanwhile another patient tried to kill herself. This is a very stressful job! Pay is ridiculous considering you put your life in danger! The pay is $8.25 and benefits are very expensive! ResCare needs to be shut down by the government cause they are running a scam on their patients, caregivers, their families, & government. They take all the clients money every month and provides them with very little! I just finnished training for 5 days. I was told I had a job and when I called the home supervisor she said there isn't a opening, but to come by anyway, so I did and I was sickened by the smell of the home and the condition of the patients, I asked to leave. The home smelled like rotten liver! !!! I refuse to work for this company. Oh and they tell you not to tell anyone who you work for. Sounds like a cover up to me. You also have to go grocery shopping for the patients and bus them around. Think and think again before you work here. I left and cried and cried for those poor patients that has to live there.
