Pros

You can make your own schedule, and the direct supervisor is friendly, and easy to get along with, that is just a stroke of luck. The job is rewarding if you like working with individual's who have severe mental illness, and like writing clinical progress.

Cons

no pay raises ever, everyone makes same rate of pay as DSP despite experience, and education. Was overpaid by error made by company, then was told it was going to be taken out in two different checks. Was all taken out on check before Thanksgiving. Horrible communication between upper management, and middle management, and then to direct support workers. Only support is through middle management, and your lucky to get that. Are told what you say can be used against you when you speak in office around office staff. Others are allowed certain privileges when others are written up for same behaviors. Office staff plays favorites, HUGE turnover rate. No bonuses, no referral bonus for marketing new clients, no name tags, expected to use own vehicle, own phone, own computer . Not reimbursed for mileage. Note documentation, and travel time are paid at a lower rate then face time or billable time with clients. five dollars less on the hour. insurance is extremely high, and employees often qualify for govt benefits. management encourages part time employment as they do not have to pay for benefits. perk of this is it pays three dollars more an hour for billable time. still paid less for rate two. lots of cons for this job. unless using for temporary while pursing another job, or while school. look for something else.

Pros

Your undervalued and underpaid coworkers

Cons

The manipulation Pharmerica uses to ensure the compensation is not accurate! The market moved and the company didn’t, the benchmark is outdated but told verbatim "we are NOT a priority" The company prioritized cost control over market competitiveness
