No corporate support. Everything is pushed down to the project level including solving IT related issues. You can try the IT helpdesk but the wait time is so longer or no one answers so you may as well spend the hold time figuring how to resolve the issue yourself. Projects are run like mini corporations so your fate rests in the hands of the Project Director being successful -so you better hope for a good one. In my expereince most of them are not. Upper management seems to all operate off the "CYA" prinicipal as opposed to rolling up their sleeves and learning their jobs.
