I started my job in April and by July had still not gotten my first pay check 2 wk. pay periods, I was being told it was lost in the mail. Then after 5 checks were not received I could not afford to return to work then they refused to pay my last hours saying because I had not yet signed these times sheets because I could not afford to drive 30 mins. to sign sheets for a company that never paid me since I started. Saying the entire time my check was lost in the mail. When I called the case supervisor after not getting the first 2 checks she quoted my correct address and said weird I mailed it to the wrong address. She would try to track them down. When I still had not been paid in July, she said she had not gotten time to check on it yet. She never told me she was going to with hold final checks or that pay sheets were not signed on my numerous calls and she never called me back but I found this out their others she told. After getting a lawyer, I got checks within one day they were not the rate of pay I was told and they were short hours.
