Pros
I've worked for many agencies in my 35 years as a home caregiver and ResCare is the best I've seen that really cares for both their employees and clients. One really important issue that I appreciate ResCare the most is that they don't require their employees to have a car...like me. Three years ago this winter, I came into their office desperately looking for a job. After all the hoop-jumping, I was hired.
Cons
They are a union company, so they have to follow all the union rules thus all the regulations such as 12 hours of extended learning classes and there is a percentage of your paycheck that they take out for union dues. Other than that, this company is pretty good to work for.
