Pros

There are no proof within this company that they are a place you would want to work. They have somewhat cheap benefits I'm only have vision and dental so I cannot tell you about their health care

Cons

None too many changes in company noticed that all of the speak in American people that were working in the office has been removed for some strange reason. There are stability issues no raises no PTO no sick time. A lot of office workers condescending and rude. Branch managers are clueless since they have been interchanged in the past couple years there is no proper training anymore since all of the original managers from the beginning when I started four years ago. They are being sued in more than one case for not treating employees with dignity and respect. Will lie to you about your pay and will not grant you the pay that you are to receive pay rate is low already they take people off of their jobs and add other people to them, this will leave you without work or less work for your paycheck will be small if you turn down any shifts that they ask you to cover they will put you on the back burner even if you are one of their best caregivers. Be careful with Care Home Care and Nightingale they are the same company I went through Nightingale to get higher and ended up at Rescare which is the same place. The company is very unorganized for I worked in the office and seeing how lazy some of the workers are. your hard work goes unnoticed no acknowledgement for anything that you do they tend to have favoritism in pick at certain workers will take you off your regular shifts that you're on your way to and send you somewhere far away to cover shift whereas they cannot find anyone else to take on the shift because it is unhealthy environment to work in. I was on my way to my regular shift in my branch manager called me and took me off of it and put me 15 miles out at a residence where there are many cats from I do believe were stray cats my company knows that I do not deal with cats. When I was there the house was filthy I had fleas jumping all over me I was bitten all over my legs I've called my boss and telling them that I cannot work here there's too many cats throwing up vomiting fleas everywhere the client would not allow me to give him his medicine and when I walked by him one of the cats called me on my arm. My branch manager came and brought organic flea repellent that did not work I spread it all over myself even on the fleece over or my pants and it did not work. Instead of them doing the assessments at home checking the surroundings and environment they sent another caregiver there to relieve me and it was another woman of color they do these things on purpose. My regular shift that I was taken off of that day was a 12 hour shift the shift that they had me on was about 6 hours I only stayed for about two or three before I was able to leave they refused to pay me for my 12 hour shift or even for the full 6 hours after they put me in this terrible situation this company is full of crap beware of them its many other things that go on within this company that I did not agree with and I'm sure you wouldn't either money isn't everything they will work you like a dog can allow you to get fleas and throw you away

Pros

Your undervalued and underpaid coworkers

Cons

The manipulation Pharmerica uses to ensure the compensation is not accurate! The market moved and the company didn’t, the benchmark is outdated but told verbatim "we are NOT a priority" The company prioritized cost control over market competitiveness
