Pros
Residents are amazing and you learn a lot from working there. I had a really good experience the first couple years and had I was there and made a lot of life long friends!
Cons
The Bel Air community’s are not bad at all. The Perry hall community needs some work though, Dining director was amazing and a very hard working but the directors in the front office would hardly ever be seen on the floors and left way earlier then there scheduled shifts ended. Can’t get overtime. The Perry hall community states it’s an independent living community but it’s more nursing home type because sales workers are bringing in whoever they can find off the streets when occupancy is low and it made everything a lot harder for workers. I had no issues but I noticed that you better have been with the right people or you would have been involved in drama and talked about all of the community. Now for all the community’s I’ve worked at, I’ve see so many hard working, caring employees leave because there is literally no way to move up in the Company without knowing someone higher up. This company has changed so drastically since I started there years ago. It’s more corporate type now and before it was like a family and everyone knew each other and treated people with respect.
