Pros

Work from home, company provided equipment, co-workers were nice

Cons

They are very micromanage like, during training you would essentially have to “raise your hand” in a way and ask to step away, they misled us as well as far as licensing goes and mentioned how other people took the test more times than what they covered and the people were still there, but if you fail more times then they cover then you will be let go

Brightway Insurance Response

We appreciate the acknowledgement of some of the many positive aspects of working for Brightway. To clarify the licensing requirement for our customer advisor roles: Brightway covers the cost of the pre-licensing course for applicants accepted into an advisor role. The company also offers paid training and will cover the cost of the licensing exam for the first three attempts (in NC and FL – the two states where we are currently hiring for advisor roles – state law allow up to five attempts to pass). Once the exam is passed, any subsequent fees for fingerprints, background checks, etc. are also covered by Brightway. If a new hire is not able to successfully obtain their license during the training period, they are unable to transition into a customer advisor role with Brightway. A Personal Lines license is a state-mandated requirement for this type of role.
