Pros

Tremendous opportunities to improve things exist. From operations, sales, HR, and leadership. If you have an idea and find the right support and backing you can likely have some success. General operational environment is full of opportunites. Operations leadership is decent in spots. International operations.

Cons

Company is arguably run by two people. One is never there and the other never leaves. Neither will ever leave the employment of the organization. One has a great grasp on the industry, company, and operations. The other hasn't a clue. Current strategy of the moment leads a lot to be desired, vision is suspect. Too much time spent on meaningless succession and development planning. Process use to take close to 4 months. Finish and start again. No logic at all to performance system and bonus system. Definitely a separate culture at the corporate offices from that in the various regions. Morale was terrible at corporate office, terrible in NA division office.

Pros

The job is easy and we’re closed if the banks are closed, the insurance benefits aren’t bad either

Cons

Management is a nightmare, they will throw you under the bus at a moments notice. They tell you to do things against company policy and when they’re caught you get into trouble for it. HR? A joke, I’ve gotten verbal threats of bodily harm from my supervisor for small mistakes that I end up fixing because she can’t be bothered to do her job and HR will not email me back. I’ve tried going to the branch manager and he just makes excuses for her. We have 10 hour days 5 days a week because she refuses to do her job so we have to pick up the slack. We also only have 6 people doing the work of 10 on a daily basis because they’re cheap and won’t get more equipment and hire more people.
