Pros

They sincerely want to make sure that you have work-life-balance by being flexible with your PTO, spending time at work getting to know one another through company and departmental events and activities (live music is a huge part of this), and often by giving the day before each holiday off since many of the employees travel out-of-state to see family. Also, there are many good people who work there and the building has undergone major renovations to make it a safer, cleaner, and more convenient work environment.

Cons

Their HR department has suffered some changes since the pandemic and the unfortunate outcome is a a shortsighted effort to implement vaccination mandates (rather poorly, regardless of opinion), in-office work schedules that many were in disagreement with and thus lost some great talent, and finally, the inability for upward mobility and growth that so many have experienced there over the years. There are individuals working there who sincerely should have been promoted to management or directorship years ago.

Pros

Insight into the nitty gritty of copyright/music licensing. Great learning experience for overcoming objections, empathetic listening, and music law.

Cons

Feels like collections more than music industry. Strict quotas with limited guidance. Need to have thick skin to gain anything at all from this job.
