      VMware's culture, benefits, and pay were great.

      Cons

      Broadcom acquired VMware and from what I hear the culture is horrible and employees are paid poorly comparatively. LOTS of layoffs.

      Soulless corporate structure and demands. Broadcom acquired the company I worked for and drastically increased prices immediately, alienating well over 50% of our customers.
