      I have asked around I don't think there is any company throwing around the type of equity that broadcom gives it's employees.

      Cons

      You have to throw out any concept of work life balance. Life is all about what Hock wants. And all Hock cares about is revenue.

      Broadcom offers great compensation and benefits

      Cons

      Wasn't a con for me but was for some, but remote work is highly discouraged and rare, most people must go into the office every day. Also, it is a rank and yank system.
