Pros
The leadership in my area does listen to and try to make things better for their employees. Steps have been taken to improve the ability to grow in your position and within your department. The overall corporate culture is one where decisions are driven from the bottom up, so your feedback as the one actually doing the work gets taken into account.
Cons
Work/life balance is sometimes difficult to manage. Overall pay is lower than average for the area for the same position. High turnover in specific areas make it difficult to establish and maintain business contacts in order to effectively perform certain job functions dependent on the knowledge and feedback in those areas. Too many tight deadlines and heavy workload create a constant environment of needing to grind to keep your head above water. Business deadline expectations are not always realistic.
