Pros
Teams are solution oriented, great support from direct management. Most fellow employees are happy. There is good exposure to many customers working on interesting projects. In my case the instruments I am working with, even though the technology is a bit dated, work very well. The company is very stable and cares about employee retention. Benefits used to be low but they have recently started to fix that. Good work/life balance should you choose it.
Cons
Innovation is a bad word. Extremely bloated once you get past the scientists, engineers, and techs. Company structure is disjointed and compartmentalized which prohibits creative growth. Does not understand how to get the most out of employees with advanced degrees and specialized experience. Pay is on the lower side of average, especially if you do not live in CA or MA.
