Pros
I have worked for Bullhorn in various roles throughout the years. Some more challenging than others. I left Bullhorn to pursue a new opportunity (and thankfully on good terms) because I had an extereme culture and re-direction of expectations & job descrtipion with the new employer I went to. Fast forward to 3 months later finding a way back to "boomerang" to Bullhorn. While people had their questions as to why I left and came back, it's not uncommon for employees to boomerang back to Bullhorn. The main reasons I came back were - I missed the people. - I missed working for an industry leader. - I missed the transparency in a leadership team - Most importantly a leadership team that pushes back/ challenges when something isn't working I've been back now for over a year and I can say with absolute confidence boomerang-ing was the right decision for me. I've gotten back involved with our Employee Resource Groups which are an incredible way to connect with the team across the globe and despite Bullhorn being a remote-first organization I feel more connected with our teams than ever. I've changed my roles more times than I can cound in various different departments, roles, and levels. Bullhorn encourages you to take control of your career and explore different opportunities within and outside of the company.
Cons
I left Bullhorn originally because frankly I was burnt out and a little lost (not due to Bullhorn but other family obligations and changes as well). The industry has changed a lot as well as technology so if you are adverse to change - Bullhorn is not going to be a good fit for you. You have to adapt and learn new things pretty quickly and be agile. If you don't manage your time and aren't able to set boundaries you will find this role challenging. Compensation is mid to lower high range depending on your level and experience but there are bi-annual reviews and end of year performance and compensation reviews.
