Pros

Unlimited PTO, Supportive Team, Opportunities For Growth, Good Benefits, LGBT+ Friendly

Cons

Some teams are understaffed and this can create a bigger workload for other support analysts. They want to keep the "small company" feel but keep acquiring other products. Gaps in communication between departments.

Thank you for taking the time to share such incredible feedback. We are so thankful for our amazing employees, like you, and for the culture and environment that we have created as a team. Like most companies, cross-functional communication is one of those areas where we continue to strive to improve. We have made some headway with cross-functional teams (CFTs), the implementation of Slack channels for cross-functional collaboration, etc. However, there is more work to be done and we remain focused on continuing to improve in this area. While we are staffed at very healthy levels across our Support departments, our smaller teams are susceptible to challenging blips (i.e. an entire team recently turned over entirely as a result of internal promotions). While we hire ahead and do staggered release dates for promotions as necessary, situations like this will always cause some pain in the few smaller teams we have. If you see a different opportunity or have some thoughts on process improvements, please reach out to me as I would love to discuss it with you. J.R. Stricker SVP, Global Support & Training

Pros

Bullhorn is full of smart people who genuinely care about doing right by customers and each other. I had the opportunity to work with leaders and individual contributors who were collaborative, knowledgeable, and willing to step in whenever help was needed. The company gives leaders a significant amount of autonomy to improve their organizations. If you see a problem and have a well-thought-out solution, you're generally trusted to own it. That made it a rewarding place to lead through change and build long-term improvements. The people are what I'll remember most. There are many individuals across the business that have become life-long friends.

Cons

The pace is fast, which can be exciting, but it also means priorities change frequently. Teams sometimes find themselves balancing new initiatives before previous ones have had enough time to mature, making it difficult to realize the full benefit of the work. As the company has grown, consistency in how priorities are reinforced across organizations has become more important. Slowing down just enough to fully operationalize key initiatives before moving to the next could create even stronger long-term results.
