Shared Services are great but it makes it so there is a disconnect with the local business units. Yet, the business units are expected to know, understand, and explain everything that the Shared Services folks do for us. Also, there is constant restructuring which makes it difficult and confusing to know who you need to reach out to for certain issues and actionable items.
