Pros

Flexibility of work for appointments & unlimited PTO.

Cons

High stress & urgency constantly shifts. Organization hierarchy has been constantly shifting leaving others overwhelmed with extra tasks & unrealistic expectations. Quarterly reviews are not fair. Only a few people can have decent numbers, the rest need to be average or poor.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re glad to hear that the flexibility for appointments and unlimited PTO have been positive aspects of your experience. We also understand your concerns around workload pressure, shifting priorities, and how organizational changes can create added stress. Your feedback about quarterly reviews and feeling that effort isn’t always fully reflected is important. We want performance evaluations to be consistent, fair, and meaningful, and input like this helps highlight where improvements may be needed. We truly appreciate the dedication and effort our teams bring to their work, and we’re continuing to evaluate how we support employees and recognize contributions. If you’d be open to discussing this further, we encourage you to reach out to People Operations so we can better understand your experience.

Pros

When I first joined the company, I wasn’t completely sure whether it was truly mission-driven or simply using the mission as a talking point. It didn’t take long for me to see that their commitment is real. This organization genuinely prioritizes its mission of protecting children over the bottom line, and that authenticity shows in every part of the culture. The environment here is unlike any other workplace I’ve experienced. It feels like a family—supportive, collaborative, and grounded in shared purpose. Leadership doesn’t just say they care about employees; they consistently show it. They invest not only in our well-being, but in the well-being of our families as well. It’s rare to work somewhere where your paycheck directly contributes to saving lives, and that meaning gives my work a level of fulfillment I’ve never had before. The executive leadership team is approachable, engaged, and genuinely connected with employees at every level. From day one, this hasn’t felt like “just a job.” Instead, it’s a place where I feel I’m making a real contribution—to children, to families, to the community, and to overall safety. It’s incredibly rewarding to be part of something that truly matters.

Cons

The only downside is that the organization is not yet operating in every state. Given how important and impactful this mission is, this type of work truly needs to be available nationwide.
