Pros

Pay and benefits are ok and I mostly work from home, although that could change at any moment.

Cons

This has got to be the most mismanaged and hypocritical company I've ever worked for. They can't decide on a WFH policy so you never know when you'll suddenly be forced to go to the office. Unless you're an upper level or corporate employee, then you get to do whatever you want, including telling your employees to work in office while you sit on your couch in your mansion. Management loves throwing out buzzwords and talking about their "pillars of success" but doesn't actually follow any of them. They tell you to come to them with comments or concerns and when you do you're either ignored or punished. They ask for feedback and when you don't give them the exact feedback they want (praise and accolades) they get upset and refuse to listen. They slow the workflow down by adding unnecessary steps and then wonder why production and morale are down. If you dare question any of these new processes you're labeled as "insubordinate" and are told by management to "do as I say" like you're in kindergarten. You should apply here only if you are a corporate bootlicker, like to be micromanaged, have no original thoughts, and/or lack self esteem and confidence.

Thank you for your detailed feedback! Firstly, we're pleased that you found our pay and benefits satisfactory. Regarding our work-from-home policy, we understand the challenges of uncertainty, but we've been exploring a hybrid model to balance in-office collaboration and remote flexibility, aiming to boost productivity and company culture. We apologize if you felt micromanaged during your time here. We actively invest in leadership training to foster a more supportive and open work environment. We value innovative ideas and welcome suggestions to drive our mission forward. Child safety remains at the heart of our mission. Additionally, we offer annual performance reviews for all employees, providing opportunities for raises and growth. Pros

When I first joined the company, I wasn’t completely sure whether it was truly mission-driven or simply using the mission as a talking point. It didn’t take long for me to see that their commitment is real. This organization genuinely prioritizes its mission of protecting children over the bottom line, and that authenticity shows in every part of the culture. The environment here is unlike any other workplace I’ve experienced. It feels like a family—supportive, collaborative, and grounded in shared purpose. Leadership doesn’t just say they care about employees; they consistently show it. They invest not only in our well-being, but in the well-being of our families as well. It’s rare to work somewhere where your paycheck directly contributes to saving lives, and that meaning gives my work a level of fulfillment I’ve never had before. The executive leadership team is approachable, engaged, and genuinely connected with employees at every level. From day one, this hasn’t felt like “just a job.” Instead, it’s a place where I feel I’m making a real contribution—to children, to families, to the community, and to overall safety. It’s incredibly rewarding to be part of something that truly matters.

Cons

The only downside is that the organization is not yet operating in every state. Given how important and impactful this mission is, this type of work truly needs to be available nationwide.
